Disparity in recrystallization of α- & γ-fibers and its impact on Cube texture formation in non-oriented electrical steel

چکیده

An investigation into the recovery and recrystallization of two major texture fibres, namely α γ, during annealing yielded subtle differences between two. It is reported that with thermal activation static occurs, where dislocation free sub-grains are formed tend to grow, coalesce, or bulge out. This can form new strain-free recrystallisation nuclei, coalescence bulging phenomenon depending on stored energy geometrically density (GND). Due low lattice curvature otherwise, it was found α-fiber has GND values which favours neighbouring deformed grains as opposed subgrain coalescence. In contrast, γ-fiber tends undergo rapid due high curvature, i.e., energy. The newly from both fibers were also typically differ in size, a much higher nucleation rate Furthermore, discovered Cube component though nucleating rates within α-fiber, nucleates all regions densities but will only survive rates, α-fiber. Moreover, Goss preferentially nucleate γ-fiber.

Secondary recrystallization characteristics of 3%Si grain-oriented electrical steel

A secondary recrystallization Lab study focusing on the secondary recrystallization temperature and magnetic properties was carried out on cold rolling industrial samples of 3%Si grain-oriented electrical steel produced by low slab reheating temperature technology. The results showed a secondary recrystallization temperature, determined by the observed grain size change, of 1080 C with annealin...

The Effect of Cold Rolling Process on the Microstructure and Texture Evolution in a 1 wt. % Si Non-oriented Electrical Steel

In this study, the effect of cold rolling process on the microstructure and texture evolution in 1wt. % Si non-oriented electrical steel was investigated. For this purpose, all samples were processed through single-stage hot rolling at 1100 ° C and two-stage cold rolling (cross rolling and unidirectional rolling) with intermediate annealing at 650 °C for 35 seconds. Finally, all of them were fu...
